Naturally fallen trees from Veltrusy Mansion and reclaimed wood from the Château’s grounds are the raw materials that this table was made from.

The Château and its history are the inspiration, link and reference for this project. Veltrusy Château was initially built in the baroque era, then later reconstructed and extended in a classicist style. The typical elements of the aforementioned period are reflected in my artistic approach of the final design – threading the historical and the cultural through a contemporary lens. Designed, sourced and handcrafted in the Czech Republic.
