The Emilie & Emil lighting collection refers to the aesthetics of the First Republic, while speaking a contemporary language. Emílie and Emil draw inspiration from the eras of modernism, cubism, and art deco, in particular from the work of architect Emil Králíček. Beyond illuminating a space, they also serve as objects with a deeper layer of meaning – embodying the connection between tradition and the courage to reinterpret it anew.
